# What You Need:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced
02 - 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

→ Syrup & Flavorings

03 - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
04 - 2 tablespoons honey or agave syrup

→ Liquids

05 - 1 cup chilled sparkling water
06 - 1/2 cup cold water

→ Garnish

07 - Mango slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs
08 - Ice cubes

# Directions:

01 - Combine diced mango, grated ginger, lime juice, honey or agave, and 1/2 cup cold water in a blender. Process until completely smooth and no chunks remain.
02 - Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher or bowl, pressing with a spoon to extract liquid and remove fibrous ginger and mango pulp.
03 - Fill two serving glasses with ice cubes to chill the mocktail.
04 - Divide the strained mango-ginger puree evenly between the glasses, filling each about halfway.
05 - Pour chilled sparkling water into each glass to fill. Gently stir with a spoon to combine the puree and sparkling water.
06 - Decorate with fresh mango slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs if desired. Serve immediately while cold and effervescent.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The fresh ginger gives it this sophisticated warmth that makes you forget its completely alcohol free
  • Takes ten minutes from start to finish but tastes like something from a fancy cocktail bar
02 -
  • The first time I skipped straining it because I was in a rush and the ginger fibers made it unpleasantly fibrous, so please do not skip this step
  • Sparkling water loses its fizz quickly once poured, so add it right before serving and never try to store mixed glasses
03 -
  • Use very cold mango, almost frozen, for an extra frosty texture that makes it feel more indulgent
  • Invest in a good fine mesh sieve because cheap ones let too much ginger pulp through and ruin the silky finish
